BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — People living near Ten Mile Road in Meridian will have a third Starbucks to choose from beginning late next week.
The new location on the north side of I-84 has been under construction for a few months. It has two drive-through speakers, one drive-through window and indoor/outdoor seating. Starbucks says it opens on Friday, Oct. 20.
The new location is closer to Scheels (scheduled to open in 2024) and Saltzer Health.
It joins two other Starbucks on Ten Mile Road. One is inside Albertsons located on Ten Mile and Cherry, and the other is near Walmart and Panda Express on Ten Mile and McMillan.
The new Starbucks will be the sixth coffee shop north of I-84 and Ten Mile.
Locally owned Wild Things Coffee recently opened a storefront at 2900 W Excursion Lane, near Crave. Human Bean operates a store on Ten Mile near Ustick. A Dutch Bros. is in the Costco parking lot at Ten Mile and Chinden.
