Nothing against the actress, but the character has worn out her welcome by 14 months!

I couldn’t agree more …well maybe to say worn out welcome 18 months ago

even if there is a 3 yr contract as some say / many have posted how 3 yr contracts have 6 month clauses in them and character can be written out or put on recurring at that time

I would rather see Diane than Phyllis right now. I don’t know if it is the writing, the acting, or the character, but I’m so sick of her. I think if they just toned her down, and gave her something else to be interested in besides destroying Diane, then I could take her again.

Than maybe keep watching as the Phyllis storyline is supposed to go in different direction according to MS/Phyllis

I am tired of everyone trying to destroy Diane. I missed the Guiding Light Diane years, but I assume that actress/writing turned Diane into the show’s major big bad to make everyone hate her as much as they do.

I never knew the prior Dianes to be as hated this much; moreso annoying and conniving, but not evil like Phyllis, Ashley, and Nikki make her out to be.

Why didn’t Ashley go through this effort to rid Jabot of Adam? He is much worse than Diane.

Yes, so beyond the very loooong list of annoying and manipulative things Diane does, here are several illegal actions:

  • Stealing sperm: And it actually affected 2 men, since she really wanted Victor’s swimmers, but got Jack’s instead.
  • Arson: She set fire to the Abbott pool house and framed Phyllis (which is also a crime)
  • Extortion - Before she faked her death, she was extorting Victor for money because she had a tape proving Abby was driving the night of Tucker’s accident)
  • Faked Death
  • Framing: I’m not sure what the legal term is, but she tried to implicate Abby, Ashley, Jack, Nicholas, Phyllis, Tucker and Victor in her fake death above
  • And all the crimes that she committed with Jeremy.

    • She’s hardly PTA material.

    Susan Walters has a three year contract. Twice a year contracts are reviewed by TPTB with the actor. If she wants to leave early she can always ask for an early release. I’m not expecting that.

    Diane did a lot of nasty things to a lot of people in GC but nothing as nasty or illegal as what Phyllis has done. Everyone went after Diane Victor even threw her out of a moving car. Believe me Diane can be a bad A&& but Phyllis is much worse
